Man, Afterlife with Archie is a sick book. It's disturbing and violent; a book that will make you flip back to the cover to remind yourself this is really an Archie comic. That's what makes this series work, though. It doesn't pull any punches; it delivers straight up horror which just so happens to take place in the Archie Universe. This thing is downright evil, but in all the best ways. If loving this kind of stuff makes me a sicko, then I guess I'm a sicko because I freaking love Afterlife with Archie. Dead dogs and all.
