Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight are the two free games in April for Xbox Live Gold members, Microsoft announced today.
Beginning April 1, Hitman: Absolution will become free — knocked down from its $20 USD price tag — until April 15. Hitman: Absolution is a Square Enix-published game from 2012, and IGN praised the title for requiring improvisation, giving it a score of 9.0.
Starting April 16, Deadlight will take the place of Hitman: Absolution, dropping from $15 USD and staying free through April 30. Deadlight launched in 2012 for Xbox Live Arcade and was one of the finest titles of the year on the platform. IGN thought Deadlight was great with a score of 8.5, enjoying the game's exploration and art direction.
