If Injustice: Year Two has shown us anything so far, it's how much potential still remains in exploring the years leading up to the events of the game. The series' major focus right now seems to be building towards the great war between Superman's forces and the Green Lantern Corps. A conflict of that scale would dwarf anything the game had to offer, and it reminds us that comics need only be limited by imagination and talent, not budgetary or technical restraints.
