Clearly, Iron Patriot is essentially a new War Machine book. Every few years, Marvel tries to launch a new James Rhodes lead series and it's typically not something that lasts very long. This issue looks to continue that trend, as it doesn't give us much of a reason to care about the character or what happens in his life. It's certainly not bad, but there's nothing new and exciting here, nothing to keep us coming back issue to issue. There's just not much to it.
