City Interactive’s Enemy Front will arrive in the US on June 10, Australia on June 12, and Europe on June 13, the developer has announced.
The CryEngine 3-powered Enemy Front was announced way back in 2011 with Stuart Black (co-creator of cult-favourite Criterion shooter Black) as chief designer. Black left the project in 2012. At the time the game was said to feature a “hardened soldier dropped behind Nazi lines to engage in dynamic, diversified missions ranging from quick skirmishes, espionage assignments, and sabotage activities” although it seems to have evolved somewhat. Instead players will assume the role of American war correspondent Robert Hawkins as he teams up with resistance fighters opposing the Nazi regime.
