Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that the first phase of free-to-play MMO PlanetSide 2's new Missions System has gone live in-game.
The Missions System is designed to streamline player objectives, acting as a player guide for finding offensive or defensive objectives. Missions are automatically created and assigned to players based on their proximity to capturable or contested facilities. Don't like your current mission? Head to another region to be assigned a new mission.
You'll find that you will always have a mission to complete, so you'll never be lost for anything to do in PlanetSide 2. Though there are currently no rewards in place for completing missions, players who complete a mission with a squad are eligible for a 15% experience bonus.
