The moving, revealing Garvey-centric "Solace for Tired Feet" picked things up exactly four formal Kevin/Nora dates after from the scene at the end of last week's "Guest" when Kevin warned Nora that he was "f***ing mess." And so now, right on the cusp of their relationship becoming something more rewarding and meaningful, Kevin's found himself sucked back into his father's madness. Or his father's "holy mission." Whichever take you want to go with.
But Kevin, Sr., and the voices that he hears (who now actively want to recruit Kevin), are only part of Kevin's problems as he's now starting to come to terms with the fact that he's also been blacking out. Something we suspected may have been happening but didn't get formal confirmation about until this week when Aimee actively participated in one of Kevin's nighttime dog-scapades. Which now makes us wonder a few things. Is he up to something specific when he blacks out - Tyler Durden-style? - or is it just random weirdness? Are the pills he's taking causing the episodes or is he unknowingly connected to whatever Kevin, Sr.'s quest is?
