Too often in genre comics, particularly horror books, there's an increased pressure to give the readers "what they want." There's nothing particularly wrong with adhering to that convention, but delivering to expectation can definitely limit the overall impact of the book's events. It's with that in mind that Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta return to the world of Outcast, delivering another quieter but no less riveting installment.
