It seems that Nintendo is through playing games, at least when it comes to moving hardware. The company announced today that several new hardware bundles will be hitting retailers beginning next month.
Starting in mid-September, Nintendo will offer a Wii U bundle at retailers that includes not just the console, but physical copies of both Super Mario 3D World, but also a copy of the original Wii U bundled title, Nintendo Land, all for $299 USD.
The second Wii U bundle will be available exclusively at Walmart stores and will come with physical copies of the aforementioned Nintendo Land, along with Mario Kart 8, again for $299 USD.
The final bundled hardware and software set Nintendo announced is a choice between Crimson Red, Electric Blue, and Sea Green Nintendo 2DS with a download code for Mario Kart 7. The 2DS bundle will be hitting "early October" and retails for $129 USD.
