The success of Divekick last year proved that developers can work off the standard formula of health bars and special moves when it comes to fighting games. Super Soul has found a similar way to subvert the standard brawler by boiling it down to the very basic rock-paper-scissors combat system (which is the core foundation for franchises like Dead or Alive). It's an extremely quick game where fights can end in less than a second (and never extend past 10), but if my initial hands-on time was any indication, the slight permutations to the simple formula have the potential to make this an excellent fighting-party game mashup.
