Peggle 2, the puzzle game from PopCap Games, is coming to PlayStation 4 Oct. 19.
EA said it was in the final stages of a "much-anticipated new Peggle game" last month, and although it was unclear whether that project was the Peggle 2 port, any other game has yet to be announced.
As in the original Peggle, the sequel combines elements of pinball and other puzzle games, and allows players to utilize several characters throughout.
Peggle 2 originally released for Xbox One last year, and later for Xbox 360 –– in IGN's Peggle 2 review, we lauded its cheerful, vivid presentation, saying it improved on the already-proven formula, but felt that its multiplayer offerings were too thin.
