DreamWorks Animation has inked a four-year deal with South Korea-based animation firm Studio Mir -- known for their work on Nickelodeon's The Legend of Korra -- and is planning to develop four new animated series with the company.

Variety reports that each show will be 2D-animated (same as Korra) and consist of 78 episodes. Interestingly, the two companies will co-develop and co-produce the projects, though financing and distribution are still uncertain.
