Who's ready for some Dorne? By a show of hands, who wants...
Okay, bad idea. Let's just all agree that we're super stoked to head into the land of Dorne in Game of Thrones Season 5 - a place we've only heard of thus far. Famous for its wine, women, and Oberyns.
So why haven't we seen Dorne up until now? Other than the fact that most everything, chaos and carnage-wise, was happening up in the upper regions of Westeros? Well, they keep to themselves. Once an official part of the Seven Kingdoms, Dorne maintains cordial relations with King's Landing - enough that they took in Princess Myrcella as a favor to Tyrion when it looked like Stannis was poised to conquer the Lannisters - but for the most part they enjoy living down in the desert, safe and separate from all those "games of thrones."
