Veteran 007 writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade reportedly did more than simple script touch-ups for James Bond 24. In fact, the new screenplay for the Daniel Craig-starring vehicle is supposedly pretty different from the original penned by John Logan.
According to The Daily Mail, Purvis and Wade have delivered their script for James Bond 24, and the duo (with credits on The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, and Skyfall) did more than just adding some jokes here and there. "There was an awful lot of work to do. It was a big job," a 007 inside source said. "The impression given was that Purvis and Wade were hired to add jokes -- but it was a bigger deal than that."
