Dungeons 2 has officially been announced by Kalypso Media.
A sequel to the "okay" Dungeons, the real-time strategy game will once again be developed by Realmforge Studios, who say they are aiming to make the very best dungeon experience for fans.
Players will once again take control of the ominous Dungeon Lord, who is attempting to take revenge by mobilizing the most terrifying inhabitants of the underworld to conquer both his domain and that of the humans.
To do this, players will construct dungeons to both defend their kingdoms and attack human cities. There will be a sizeable campaign mode with two playable factions, twenty-six different creatures and a variety of game modes. The story will include a similar dark humor to that of the first Dungeons game, and will have various allusions to other works of fantasy.
