Who could forget the Ghostfacers? Unfortunately, no one. The goofy wannabe ghost hunters are a little endearing but only in small doses. Their schtick is just different enough this time that they don't overstay their welcome.
Though it is maddening that they still flounder along and pretend they're as good as the Winchesters, Harry and Ed had some real moments in this episode that made you pause and put yourself in their shoes. They're clawing and fighting to be a hint of what the Winchesters are, and even if they want to help people, it's been lost in a desire for notoriety.
Ed's lies to Harry about the existence of the Thinman paralleled the troubles between Dean and Sam. That seemed blazingly obvious and silly at first, and it is actually, but it did lead to a nice moment between Sam and Harry. Sam is still clearly ticked at Dean and wrestling with whether he should forgive them. And, what he said to Harry leaves it open as to whether he'll ever forgive Dean.
