When people list the greatest comic series of all time, it’s shocking how often Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo is ignored. For over 200 issues in its original run, Sakai crafted a perfect samurai epic that just so happened to feature talking animals. He’s a master of his craft and to see him return to Usagi after his hiatus is an absolute joy. Fortunately, longtime fans and new readers alike will be thrilled by Senso #1.
