Under the Dome: "In The Dark" Review

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...


Under the Dome ditched some of its dumb this week with "In The Dark," but ultimately replaced idiocy with boring bickering between Barbie/Sam and Julia/Rebecca as a cave in triggered by a bomb made by Lyle ("He's always been crafty") forced the two pairs to spend some quality time together.


The only upside to any of this is that Sam was finally outed as Angie's murderer. So we didn't have to draw out the "mystery," which all of us had already solved by the end of the season premiere, any longer. Though it's also painfully clear - thanks even to a "whooshing" sound before he vanished - that Sam is still alive and that the chasm most likely transports people to some other place. Which we also could have figured out from the fact that Lyle escaped off that subterranean cliff on purpose.
