You won't need an Xbox Live Gold Membership to make use of EA Access when the service launches on Xbox One.
A statement provided to IGN clarifies the upcoming service will be available for those who choose not to access all of Microsoft's online features, though this will naturally result in some restrictions on your gaming.
"When it launches, any Xbox One gamer can join EA Access and take advantage of the benefits of membership. In order to connect to multiplayer gameplay on the Xbox One platform you will need a subscription to Xbox Gold," EA explained.
