Spoiler Warning: Turn back if you have not watched this week's Person of Interest episode, "The Crossing"
This past Tuesday's Person of Interest episode shocked viewers with not only an unexpected kiss, but an unexpected death as well. Which is saying quite a bit considering the fact that the network and the show's executive producers, Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman, had been promoting for months that someone important would die. The episode just twisted and turned so much that we could figure out who it was in time.
And it was Joss Carter, played by Taraji P. Henson, who fell. She had "gotten her man" (in more ways than one) and now it was time to sacrifice her to the story, much to the dismay of fans all over the world. But Person of Interest was out to prove that not only did their stories have real stakes, but that their villains were formidable. And that you couldn't take on New York's most powerful criminal organization (who were dirty cops, by the way) and escape unscathed.
