Vis Media announced today that the next feature film installment of the Pokémon franchise hits stores next Tuesday, December 3, just in time for Christmas! Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened will debut on DVD (plus, a bonus trading card), along with a manga adaptation. Here's the official synopsis:
"Big trouble threatens the big city, and it's up to Ash, Pikachu and their friends to stop it! Five Mythical Genesect Pokémon arrive to their new home in the city, but their nest soon threatens the city's power supply. On top of that, they've attracted the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, and their confrontation quickly rages out of control. Can Ash and friends stop these powerful Pokémon and make peace between them before they all destroy the city?"
