Double Fine announced today that it has reacquired the rights to two of its games -- Stacking and Costume Quest -- which will result in physical PC and Mac versions of both games, along with Psychonauts, being released in North America and Europe next year.
The publishing and distribution rights for the two games had been owned by Austrian publisher Nordic Games. Nordic is now working with Double Fine to bring Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Stacking to retail for PC and Mac in the first six months of 2014.
"I am pleased that we have regained full control over Costume Quest and Stacking, following a daring and top-secret midnight raid on the Nordic Games headquarters in Vienna," said Double Fine boss Tim Schafer in a press release.
