Last month's melancholy Hawkeye #13 was a tough act to follow, and writers Matt Fraction and Annie Wu have followed up that sorrowful effort with an uplifting shift in mood as the action switches over to Kate Bishop's summer of self-discovery. It's a stark tonal contrast to where we left Clint Barton, and it's hard not to compare the two narratives. Kate's story is as light and fluffy as Clint's is increasingly dark and grim, but fortunately, we can take comfort in the one constant that never lets us down: the ever present Pizza Dog.
