Some of Dynamite's pulp revival books are great and some fall a little flat. It's not always easy to these classic characters and make them fresh and exciting for a new generation of readers. Well, you can count Noir #1 in the winners corner, because it's fresh, exciting and a whole hell of a lot of fun. It's too bad the Shadow is only “guest starring” in this comic, because he steals the show on just about every page. Wether you are familiar with these characters or not, Noir #1 is worth a read. It's just incredibly well done from start to finish.
