Doctor Who celebrates its 50th anniversary this week, and to commemorate this momentous occasion, we've teamed up with publisher Gollancz to post three excerpts from their book 'Behind the sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.
The entertaining tome features 150 celebrity fans sharing their favourite memories of the British sci-fi series, with everyone from Jonathan Ross and Charlie Brooker to Hugh Bonneville and Stephen Merchant offer their two cents worth.
