Transformers: Age Of Extinction remained the top movie at the North American box office over the July 4th holiday weekend.
The Michael Bay-directed sequel finished the three-day weekend with an estimated $36.4 million. Its current domestic gross is $174.7 million with a worldwide total of $575.6 million.
Transformers: Age of Extinction easily held off new releases Tammy and Deliver Us From Evil. The Melissa McCarthy comedy Tammy debuted in second place with a weekend estimated at $21.2 million and a domestic total of $32.9 million since opening Wednesday.
The horror film Deliver Us From Evil conjured a weekend total of $9.5 million for third place and a domestic total of $15 million since its July 2nd bow.
