Syfy announced yesterday two new additions to the cast of the TV adaptation of 12 Monkeys: Tom Noonan (Damages, Heat) and Emily Hampshire (Cosmopolis).
The two actors will have recurring roles on the 13-episode first season. Noonan is set to play a villain in the TV show, acting as the face of the Army of the 12 Monkeys. Hampshire will portray a dangerous mental patient by the name of Jennifer Goines, who may just have the answers for the 12 Monkeys mystery.
Noonan and Hampshire join 12 Monkeys stars Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, and Noah Bean. The TV series will follow Cole (Stanford) as he travels back in time to find and destroy a mysterious plague that decimates humanity in the future.
