Post-apocalyptic flick Maze Runner isn't out in theaters yet, but director Wes Ball is already looking towards a sequel.
During the 20th Century Fox panel at Comic-Con, Ball said that if the first film - due out in September - is a success, shooting on a sequel will begin in the northern fall this year.
Based on the Young Adult novel by James Dashner, The Maze Runner tells the story of Thomas (Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien), who, along with his fellow abductees, must escape the eponymous maze they wake up in. Dashner followed up his book with two sequels (The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure,) which Ball would mine for subsequent films.
