When not playing games, I'm usually gobbling up as many Gordon Ramsay reality shows as I possibly can. Maybe that's why I had so much fun playing as a Cook in a brief demo of Level 5's upcoming adventure RPG Fantasy Life.
Before even choosing a new life, I was pleasantly surprised by the wild amount of customization options available for my character. You can play as a boy or girl, but aside from that, there's an impressive number of ways to make your character unique. A vast array of eyes, mouths, and body shapes are available, on top of tons of hairstyles and colors, and even different voices to choose from. I'm a big admirer of customization in MMO type games, and I wasn't let down by what Fantasy Life has to offer.
