“Door Number Three” finally brings all the different everyone together in one place and the quality of storytelling improves because of it. With the reunions out of the way Tom is quickly forced to deal with the issue of Lexi and the potential threat she poses to those who people who follow his lead. Before he can speak with his daughter, the human/Espheni hybrid is encapsulated within a cocoon for some unknown reason.
It was great to see Tom trying to cope with his daughter’s situation and the growing anger from the masses that feel she is a danger. Tom consistently rises to the occasion but this week he tries to take a different approach and it’s not hard to blame him for wanting to sit back and take a breather now that he’s reunited with his family. The urgency of the situation and uncertainty around his daughter’s impending metamorphosis force his hand however and he finds himself caught between family and friends.
