The penultimate episode of Halt and Catch Fire’s first season finds our renegade entrepreneurs in Las Vegas for COMDEX and scrambling to pull the show together. With their suite no longer on retainer, their machine not working, and a host of other problems that get in their way throughout the episode, “Up Helly Aa” is a fast-paced, exciting ride that finds our characters ate their best while the crap hits the fan around them. Not only is it a thrilling episode, it’s a great change of scenery; no longer confined to the Cardiff offices, Joe’s apartment, or Gordon’s house, we finally get to explore Halt and Catch Fire’s 1983 a little bit more.
