Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...
Sorry for the delay with the review. Comic-Con + travel and all that. I'm thinking this review won't be all that long either.
Anyone else think, right when it happened, that giving Guilty Remnant members whistles was a bad idea? Seeing as how their main goal is to push people’s buttons and purposefully disturb the everyday lives of Mapletonians?
Of course, we haven’t seen them use the whistles in a truly grating manner yet, I’m just anticipating a future nuisance. The actual use of the whistle in the episode, when Laurie stormed outside and blew it in Matt’s face while he tried to hold a vigil for the Remnant’s murdered member, was very powerful. And represented Laurie recommitting herself to - well - whatever the Remnant is. Much like Meg forced herself back out into those woods to hack at that tree weeks ago.
