Scooby-Doo Team Up has so far proven to be the most delightful all-ages book DC has put out in a very long time. This month, they take it up a notch and team up Daphne and Velma with the one and only Wonder Woman. On Paradise Island, mythical monsters are attacking. Because men aren't allowed on Paradise Island, it's up to Daphne and Velma to solve this mystery at Batman's suggestion.
Scooby-Doo Team Up #5 is a perfect example of what all ages comics can be. Not only is it hilarious but it teaches an excellent lesson about gender equality. Daphne and Velma in the classic cartoon were not the headliners. In this team up, Daphne and Velma, thanks to the empowering Amazons, save the day with little help from Fred and Shaggy. It's the kind of comic that is perfect to give to a young girl to show her that being a woman does not stop you from taking charge and being a hero.
