Thus far in the Rat Queens relatively brief run, there hasn't really been a true "bad guy." Sure there have been a few angry town folk, some ninjas, maybe a horde or two of angry orcs, but otherwise the many obstacles the Queens have had to overcome have been mostly self inflicted. Issue #7 changes that in a big way, offering a truly disquieting threat that is sure to affect the Queens and those they hold dear on a most personal level.
