Nearly 2,000 People Competing in EVO's Street Fighter Tourney

Ultra Street Fighter IV is the biggest tournament set for EVO 2014, with nearly 2,000 people signing up for the fighting game competition.

Shoryuken reports that 1,979 people signed up for the Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament at EVO 2014. That is the largest game competition by far, followed by Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with 1,014 people. Super Smash Bros. Melee comes in close behind in third place with 970 people, showcasing a resurrected community for the GameCube title.
