If a simulation of tomorrow's Major League Baseball All-Star game played on MLB 14: The Show is too be believed, the opening game of this year's World Series will be played in a National League ballpark.
Sony's San Diego office ran the simulation and the results were a 5-3 victory for the National League All-Stars.
The simulated match-up went into extra-innings, with the first three scoreless innings broken by doubles in the top of the fourth by Brewers' centerfielder Carlos Gomez and Pirates' outfielder Andrew McCutchen. In the bottom of the six, the AL tied the game at 3-3, a score that would last until Cincinnati Reds' baseman Todd Frazier knocked the ball out of the park with a man-on for a two-run homer in the top of the 10th.
