DC's Harley Quinn series kicked off last year with a #0 issue that took a very different stylistic approach from the rest of the series. That issue was basically the comic book version of the Looney Tunes short "Duck Amuck," as Harley clashed with her writers in search of the perfect artist to illustrate the series. Harley Quinn Invades Comic-Con dusts off that storytelling approach. While Harley doesn't break the fourth wall to the extent that she directly communicates with Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner this time, there is plenty of meta-humor and another rotating crew of artists on board to render her zany misadventures. Harley crashing SDCC and pestering a who's who of DC creators to look at her comic is a great premise, but not one that's especially well executed.
