Evolve: What will the Third Monster Look Like?

If we reduce Evolve’s two known Monsters down to their core values, it’s easy to start making educated guesses about the unknown third beast.

Goliath -- the fire-breathing lizard-gorilla -- is a ground-based brute that closes gaps quickly and annihilates enemies up close. Kraken -- the flying Cthulu wizard -- keeps its distance and can both navigate and escape much faster than Goliath. This leaves Evolve’s third Monster, the last one developer Turtle Rock is making for launch, to fill some notable gaps.

That could happen in a number of ways.

If Kraken is the aerial archetype, and Goliath is on-foot, it’s not unreasonable to suspect some sort of subterranean Monster in Evolve -- and it could be terrifying.
