This Aquaman/Swamp Thing crossover has worked out better than such a thing had any right to. Jeff Parker managed to make the encounter fit seamlessly into his Aquaman run last week, and Charles Soule responds in kind as the crossover shifts to Swamp Thing #32. This issue is even framed in such a way that reading Aquaman #31 isn't a prerequisite. At the end of the day, this is just another excellent chapter in an excellent series.
