We were introduced to The Order 1886's werewolf enemies at E3. Now we're getting an inside look at their design, courtesy of the developers who made them.
The Evolution of the Half-Breeds video above dives deep into why the creatures look how they look, what choices were made to make them feel intelligent, and why you should be afraid of them.
"We really tried to capture the right balance of both human and lupine anatomy and that level of imperfection that makes it not feel like this action comic book creature, and much more like this is a creature that could have existed that we just haven't seen yet," said Nathan Phail-Liff, art director on The Order: 1886.
One IGN editor went toe-to-toe with one of these beasts at E3, and it sent him running for his life.
