After a fairly lackluster chapter in Superman #31 last week, the Doomed crossover picks up again with Action Comics #32. This issue works because Greg Pak places the emphasis less on Superman and more on his many allies and enemies that have been drawn into the conflict. So much of Superman's supporting cast have either been unjustly ignored or downright poorly handled during the course of the New 52. So if this crossover accomplishes nothing else, at least it deserves credit for giving characters like Lana Lang and Steel the platform they deserve.
