My Chemical Romance may be broken up, but the band's lead singer Gerard Way is still producing art. This fall, he'll be making his Marvel Comics debut with a Spider-Man comic tied into the upcoming Spider-Verse event, as reported by CBR.
Spider-Verse features every Spider-Man ever from across multiple dimensions coming together to stop the villain Morlun. A 5-part lead-in mini-series called Edge of Spider-Verse will feature five of those different Spider-Men. The only hint to what Way's will be about is "What or who is SP//dr?" You've got us.
Artist Jake Wyatt (Ms. Marvel, Indestructible Hulk) will be drawing the issue, Edge of Spider-Verse #5, which goes on sale in October.
