Gamers will battle their way across Pandora's moon and chronicle the rise of Handsome Jack when Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel releases in North America on October 14, and internationally on October 17.
The stand-alone title will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Gamers who pre-order will receive the "Shock Drop Slaughter Pit" bonus content, which takes place in a former Dahl facility on Pandora's moon.
The Shock Drop Slaughter Pit pre-order bonus will see players battling enemies in zero-atmosphere conditions as they gather loot for TR4-NU, a new character in the Borderlands universe who was formerly a military recruiter "until he went crazy."
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will continue the successful formula of the first two games in the franchise, with drop-in, drop-out co-op play either online, or locally via split screen. Loot will continue to be the carrot gamers reach for, with four new character classes, new weapons, vehicles, locations and jet packs. Jet. Packs.
