TSA Will Require Electronics to be Turned On at Some Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has laid out new rules regarding electronic devices on airplanes that could effect travelers heading to the United States.


According to the Associated Press, some overseas airports that offer US-bound flights will require passengers to power on their electronic devices, such as smartphones and tablets, prior to boarding. If a device or devices are not able to be powered on, it will not be allowed on the flight.
