Remember when we used to be upset that nothing was coming out each week on Nintendo systems? Well, it almost seems like it was building to this. This week features a half-dozen new Wii U eShop games in addition to an awesome GBA Virtual Console title in Mario Tennis: Power Tour and a number of interesting 3DS eShop games. Guacamelee can scratch your Metroid itch, Armillo can scratch your 3D platformer itch, and Bombing Bastards can scratch your chaotic five-player multiplayer itch.
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition ($14.99)
DrinkBox Studios' Metroid-inspired brawler platformer comes to Wii U with a number of enhancements in the Super Turbo Championship Edition. Playing as a luchador who is on a mission to save El Presidente's daughter, you go between the World of the Living and the World of the Dead collecting power-ups and uncovering secrets while beating the tar out of a variety of skeletons. You can scope out the map on the Wii U GamePad and even play co-op locally.
