Spider-Woman's stock has been on the rise at Marvel over the past decade. She returned to prominence as one of the original members of Brian Michael Bendis' New Avengers squad, and has continued to appear in various Avengers comics ever since. Bendis and artist Alex Maleev even briefly spun Jessica Drew into her own solo series with Spider-Woman: Agent of S.W.O.R.D.
It seems the time has finally come to give Spider-Woman her own comic again. It was announced at the "Woman of Marvel" panel this morning that writer Dennis Hopeless and artist Greg Land will be helming the new book.
