I'm here to do the impossible.
I'm here to list off - to rank - excellent, exceptional seasons of television. On most other series, even those that have only run for four seasons like HBO's Game of Thrones, it's a little easier to discern quality. To pick one year over another. But for Game of Thrones, its about as easy as teaching a White Walker to whistle (translation: a very difficult task, I'm presuming). Unless you're a book purist, in which case you'll just pick your favorites based on which ones adhered the most to the source material.
For others, it might be about which season serviced your favorite character(s) the best. So if, say, you're a huge fan of Zombie Q McBlizzard down below, you'd be looking for his best, most murder-y moments.
