Check Out the First Trailer for Fatal Frame Wii U

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo finally showed Fatal Frame Wii U in action today while also announcing the survival horror game is coming out sooner than later in Japan: September 27.


Roughly translated to English as Fatal Frame: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden, the newest entry in the franchise — also known as Project Zero in Europe and just Zero in Japan — is set in Hikamiyama, according to a translation by Gematsu. The mountain is known for death, and the game's protagonist, Kozukata Yuuri, reportedly goes there during the witching hour, when the worlds of the living and dead start to overlap.
