Doom may not be appearing at E3 this week, but Bethesda revealed today that id software's latest game in the popular franchise will debut at QuakeCon next month.
Along with the reveal, a Doom beta is happening sometime in the future, though a date hasn't yet been announced for when that's happening. People who pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order will have access to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One beta for the first-person shooter.
QuakeCon 2014 takes place from July 17-20 in Dallas. Stay tuned to IGN for more on the newest Doom game.
