Trion Worlds has announced that its MMO shooter Defiance is now free-to-play on PC.
You can download Defiance from its website. Trion is still trying to incentivise purchase, however, with buyers of new boxed or digital copies receiving bonuses such as 1000 Arkforge, four character slots, a minimum of 70 inventory slots, and 30 days of Paradise Patron status.
Paradise Patrons receive boosts to skill, XP, salvage, and reputation gain rates that stack with boosts available in the in-game store. They also receive a 10% store-wide discount.
